Apply for an electronic travel authorisation (ETA)
An ETA allows you to travel to the UK to visit for up to 6 months. Whether you can apply depends on the following:
the date you travel
your nationality as shown on your passport
If you do not require a UK visa to visit the UK but are not a UK resident, you will most probably need an ETA.
